Sanur Harbour is located at Jalan Matahari Terbit in South Denpasar, around 30–40 minutes from Kuta and Seminyak and about 40 minutes from Ubud, depending on traffic. Taxis, ride-hailing apps, and hotel transfers all serve the harbour area.
Plan to arrive within your operator's check-in window — usually 30–60 minutes before departure. Morning departures are the most popular, so allow buffer time for traffic on Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai and the harbour access road.
Arrival points differ by operator. On Nusa Penida, boats may land at Banjar Nyuh, Sampalan, Buyuk, or Toya Pakeh. On Nusa Lembongan, arrivals are typically at Jungut Batu or Mushroom Bay. Arrange onward transport before you travel.
Crossings are usually smooth in the dry season, but the Lombok Strait can be choppy. If you are prone to seasickness, sit toward the rear of the boat and consider travel medication. Services may be delayed or cancelled in rough weather.
